LEADERSHIP
We are a Jesus-led, Elder-guided, and Congregationally-affirmed church. We believe that God has called local churches to be shepherded by a plurality of biblically qualified pastors/elders. The New Testament refers to these men interchangeably as elders (Acts 14:23, Acts 20:17, Titus 1:5) and overseers (Acts 20:17, 1 Tim. 3:1-2, Titus 1:7) who pastor (Acts 20:28, 1 Pet. 5:1) local churches. Pastors/elders are called to follow the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, as they care for His church (1 Pet. 5:1-4). We are grateful that God has currently given us two pastors/elders at Calvary Fruitland. We pray that the Lord will continue to raise up more in the days ahead!
Richard Cook - Pastor/Elder
Richard Cook has been on staff since July 2010 when he filled the pulpit for the first time. He has been here ever since! He and his wife Cyndi have two grown boys, two daughters in law, and four granddaughters! Richard is passionate about the Word of God and serving Him faithfully, while at the same time serving the people he gets to shepherd.
Justin Ridgway - Replant Pastor/Elder
Justin Ridgway moved to Fruitland at the end of 2024 to serve as the Replant Pastor at Calvary Fruitland. Before that, he served in youth and family ministry at Calvary Monument in Monument, Colorado. Justin and his wife, Lou-Anne, have three precious boys at home. Justin is passionate about the gospel, seeing Christ in all the Scriptures, and watching Jesus transform hearts and lives.
